As we read Luke-Acts together, I want you to take note of what Jesus does, how He acts and how He interacts with people. The book of Luke was written from eyewitness accounts so we can see what Jesus did and how He did things.

This incredible book, as we have learnt, is the first of a two part series: Luke-Acts. There are specific things that we are meant to understand, but can only be seen when we read the two books together, let me show you some of these themes.

Sometimes when I listen to the news I find myself saying,  ‘I can’t believe they did that’, or ‘if I was there I would have done this’. The thing is, we don’t know what we would do until we are put into those situations ourselves.

This week, we’re going to explore the biblical history and concepts of salvation, which, when examined at a basic level, begins with the justification of humanity. We’re going to look at some key terminologies, and concepts within scripture, bearing in mind that the entire progressive narrative of scripture is a prelude and overture, culminating magnificently in the death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ
