Katie Haldane - Co-Founder / Director
Katie is a Lecturer at C3 College Sydney Australia. Her classes include the New Testament Survey, Advanced Bible Studies and the books of Romans, Galatians, Isaiah and Proverbs. She has a Bachelor of Theology and is currently studying her Masters. She is passionate about people loving and engaging with the Word of God. A self confessed book nerd, she is not to be trusted in a book shop with a credit card.
Kati Hornburg - TYB-YTH Co-Ordinator
Kati is from Germany and has come to Sydney Australia to study. She is currently studying her Advanced Diploma at C3 College and has been interning with Trash Your Bible for two years. Kati is the creator, organizer and co-Ordinator of the amazing www.tyb-youth.com website. Smart, gorgeous and so much fun we love having Kati on our team!
Mary Snowden - Editor / Writer
Mary is our editing genius! Sweet, gorgeous and incredibly smart. Mary has spent the last three years going through all of our blog posts and editing each and every one of them. She makes us sound smart! Mary is an incredible writer and a gift to our TYB team. We are so grateful to have her with us on this amazing journey.
Kerry Fleming - Director / Business Manager
Kerry is a Financial Planning Manager with a creative twist. We are yet to find a task that she can’t do. Editing the videos, updating the website, creating all of our new logos, banners and resources she is the hands and heart of the TYB project. With a heart to help and take care of people, she is the perfect balance to keep our academic brains out of the ivory tower!
Ryan Kerrison - Deep Dive Writer
Ryan, originally from Darwin, came to Sydney to study and hasn’t left. Ryan works at C3 College and lectures in Advanced Theology, Creation to End Times and many more subjects. As one of the founding writers and team members of TYB, Ryan is one of the smartest people we know. He has his Masters in Theology and will no doubt have his Doctorate and running Academic Colleges around the world in no time!

Dr Kyle Keimer is a Lecturer in the Archaeology of Ancient Israel. He received a B.A. in anthropology from the Ohio State University, an M.A. from Wheaton College in Biblical Archaeology, and a Ph.D. from UCLA in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, with a specialization in the archaeology of the southern Levant. He was both the George A.
Barton Fellow and an E.C.A. Fellow at the W.F. Albright Institute of
Archaeological Research in Jerusalem in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
Ella Hickey is a coffee drinking, exasperatingly optimistic, irresponsibly tattooed, twenty-something assistant pastor, novice radio announcer, neophyte writer and Bachelor of ministry graduate. She would describe herself as a theological pilgrim and one who tries their very best to be sensible and reliable (despite the tattoos and caffeine dependence).
Ryan Smith is the Creative Faculty Head at C3 College, a lecturer and a generations pastor at C3 Church in Oxford Falls. He was the Music Director at Oxford Falls from 2004 until 2016 and has been involved in over 20 praise and worship releases over the last 20 years.
Reverend Keith Garner AM is the CEO/ Superintendent of Wesley Mission. In his role, Keith has the responsibility of leading almost 2,000 staff and more than 4,000 volunteers across 130 different centres, and well over 1,500 congregation members. Since taking up the role in 2006 Keith has thoroughly immersed himself in the life
and work of Wesley Mission, inspiring those who serve alongside him through his
passionate teaching and preaching and mobilising others through his role as
social advocate and spokesperson.
Rev. Dr Adam White is Head of the Biblical Studies and Senior Lecturer in Biblical Studies at Alphacrucis College in Sydney Australia. He has a PhD in Ancient History from Maquarie University. One not to be missed!
After visiting Israel, Palestine and Jordan for the first time in 2010,
Emma Austin became a passionate, lifelong lover and student of the geography of the
biblical lands. She completed a Master of Theology at Alphacrucis College in
Sydney, writing a thesis on Eastern Orthodox iconography, and lived in Jerusalem
for 2 and a half years completing a second Masters in Biblical History and
Geography. She is now a doctoral student at the University of Sydney, studying
the way that the prophet Jeremiah uses geographic imagery to creatively rethink
the relationship between God, the people of Israel and the land.
